worm farm

Hi

does anyone own a worm farm? i am thinking of getting one but am unsure how to go about it or where to get it.

any advise or info would be appreciated

Hi Sally, i see you live in Tauranga which is great because the Tauranga City Council runs a programme, as a part of their zero waste initiative, teaching people all about worm farms. If you call the council they will put you on the waiting list for the workshop. Its free and only takes about 3hrs of your time and at the end of it you receive a worm-a-round worm farm, a bag of worms, bag of compost and garden lime which is everything you need to get started. I've had mine going for a few months now and it's really great!
Go for it - you'll be helping reduce waste in landfill before you know it!
