BRANDY ICECREAM
Dianne Russell from Mosgiel sent in this traditional family favourite passed down through the generations
You will need:
3 Egg Whites
300mls Cream
1/2 cup of Castor Sugar
3 Tablespoons Brandy, or Brandy Liqueur
Beat Egg Whites and add sugar.
Beat as for meringue, then whip cream, until it holds its peak and fold into egg white mixture.
Add Brandy and mix altogether.
Line a loaf tin with tinfoil(or any container, that you like)
Freeze, remove from freezer 1/2 hour before serving.
Will be a delight, for any Christmas table |
