When Tui Mustard Seed is applied to soil it quickly and efficiently boosts and replaces lost nutrients in the soil in a completely natural way.
Plant in autumn to grow through winter and mulch into the soil in late winter/early spring before they have flowered.
Mustard has a similar effect to mulch on soil; it improves soil structure, fertility and micro-organism activity. Once dug back into the soil, the broken down organic matter helps to provide optimal soil conditions for spring planting.

Directions for use
1. Apply 5g per square metre to soil.
2. Dig into the soil when the cover crop reaches approximately 50 cm and before they have flowered. Do this 4-6 weeks prior to planting your vegetable garden.
For optimum results sow lupin and mustard seed together. Apply at a rate of three parts blue lupin to one part mustard.
