Tui Sulphate of Potash

Tui Sulphate of Potash is an excellent source of potassium for plants. Potassium is required in larger amounts in vegetables, flowers, crop bearing trees and in smaller amounts in lawns.

 

Apply Sulphate of Potash around flowering plants to enhance flower bud development and flower colour and quality.

 

Apply Sulphate of Potash around flowering vegetables (like tomatoes and sweet peas) to develop crop size and flavour.

 

Add Sulphate of Potash around all growing plants to increase stem strength in addtion to a plant’s resistance to pests, disease, drought and frost.

  • Improves wear resistance in lawns.

Directions for use

 

For new plants

 

1. Apply 50-75g (1-2 tablespoons) per square metre.

 

2. Water in well.

 

For established plants

 

1. Apply 50g (1 tablespoon) per plant around the plant's dripline. 

 

2. Water in well.

 

Not suitable for use in containers or pots. Use Tui Fruit & Flower - Sulphate of Potash.

For vegetables and fruit apply at the time fruit sets.

 

For flowers apply before the first buds appear.

 

For lawns apply once a year, just before winter or in early spring.
