Tui Herb Mix

Tui Herb Mix is an ideal growing medium for fresh herbs because it is a light, free draining mix. This high quality blend of bark and pumice is rich in nitrogen to promote green, leafy growth and continuous harvesting. The Initial fertiliser promotes robust growth and minimises transplanting stress.

 

Tui Herb Mix contains all the necessary nutrients that herbs need to thrive, along with the additional benefits of blood & bone and sheep dust.

Directions for use

 

Planting into containers

 

1. Fill container with Tui Herb Mix.

 

2. Sow seeds or seedlings as directed and cover with more Tui Herb Mix.

 

3. Water thoroughly.

 

 

Planting into the garden

 

1. Select an area that gets plenty of sunlight and is weed free.

 

2. Working the soil to around 30 – 40 cm deep.

 

3. Make shallow furrows in the soil and place 2cm of Tui Herb Mix in the bottom of each furrow.

 

4. Sow seeds or seedlings as directed and cover with more Tui Herb Mix.

 

5. Water so surrounding area is moist.
