Tui Tomato Mix

Tui Tomato Mix is the perfect growing medium for your tomato plants and can be used to plant seedlings in the garden or in containers and pots.

The mix is 100% weed free and is a high quality blend of fine bark and peat. It is specially formulated with essential nutrients and fertilisers to ensure your tomato plants have the best possible start. Added Saturaid draws water to the root-zone and distributes water evenly to prevent dry spots.

The initial fertiliser promotes seedling growth and healthy root development while the controlled release fertiliser sustains the plant for up to six months. The addition of potash enhances fruit and flower production to ensure the best possible yield from your tomato plants.

Directions for use

Garden Planting

1. Dig a suitably sized hole, approximately twice the depth of the rootball and twice the width of the plant.

2. Half fill the hole with Tui Tomato Mix.

3. Place the seedling into the hole and fill in with remainder of mix.

4. Pat gently and water in well.

Container Planting

1. Almost fill a suitable container (approx 30L) with Tui Tomato Mix.

2. Place the seedling in the centre of the container.

3. Fill container until 3cm from the top and pat gently.

4. Water well.
