Q.
I'm wanting to plant 1-2 blueberry plants but will need to put them in pots. Is it best to choose a dwarf variety (and if so what varieties can I find in NZ) or could I use a normal rabbit eye variety? What size pot is best? Thanks!

Hi Leah, any variety is fine to grow in pots! It is best to plant two different varieties for better crops from cross pollination of the flowers. The pot size should be around 20 litre for a start, then moving up as the plant gets bigger. Note that blueberries require a more acidic soil. We recommend planting in Tui Strawberry Mix.
